Agricultural Gypsum

Agricultural gypsum is calcium sulfate dihydrate (CaSO4•2H2O). When dissolved in water, gypsum becomes calcium ions (Ca2+) and sulfate-sulfur ions (SO42-). Both of these ions are required nutrients for growing plants. In addition to being a major plant nutrient, calcium also plays a vital role in establishing and maintaining good chemical balance in soil, water and plants.

Our product IMPAG98+ is high quality di-hydrated Calcium Sulfate, no sodium and no metal with a purity level higher than 98% as Calcium Sulfate. Our product is registered as Organic and meets the OMRI Quality Standard. 

IMPAG98+ has been formulated specially to be applied with sowing machine in systems of direct sowing. Its uniform particle size (2~5 mm) and no content of fine material allow a consistent application and a gradual liberation throughout the life of the crop. IMPAG98+ has an immediate effect; whether is used to correct structural or salinity problems in agricultural lands or as fertilizer to provide sulfur as mineral.  IMPAG98+ is available in 1Ton bags or bulk.

The improvement in structure that  IMPAG98+ produces generates more aeration and improves the roots development. Roots can expand vertical and horizontally, and generates more exposure to the present nutrients in the soil or the ones provided by fertilization. This effect is translated in major production yields.

Agricultural gypsum has the chemical properties for reclaiming farmland. Highly soluble, agricultural gypsum adds much needed calcium to over cultivated farmland extending the useful life of the land indefinitely. This process results in a reduced need for deforestation as existing farmland is continued to be available for growing.
